Comanche County Busted Mugshots is a private reference resource, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or pull an official booking record. For those matters, contact the agency, detention facility, court, or other public office that created or holds the record.

Custody and Record Contacts

Comanche County records are held by different offices depending on the event and the person's current status. The detention facility handles county jail custody, the Sheriff's Records Division handles Sheriff-created records, city police departments hold their own reports, and courts maintain case files after filing. Start with the most specific known detail, such as the arresting agency, the approximate date, or a case number.

Comanche County Detention Center
315 SW 5th Street
Lawton, OK 73501
580-250-1902
Jail Administrator: David Weber

The Comanche County Detention Center is the official starting point for a person currently in county custody. Its Current Inmates route opens the public BlueHorse roster. That search is for current or recent county custody, not every arrest made in Comanche County and not a court-disposition record.

Comanche County Sheriff's Department
315 SW 5th Street, Room 102
Lawton, OK 73501
Records and non-emergency: 580-353-4280
Sheriff's public phone: 580-353-4282
Records functions operate 24/7. Administrative office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Sheriff's Records Division is a useful contact for Sheriff reports, warrants, protective-order records, and the agency's records functions. County detention records can have a different custodian because CCDC operates separately from the Sheriff's Department. Ask the office which agency created the record before making a request.

Use the following official routes for the specific question at hand:

  • For current county custody, begin at CCDC and its BlueHorse roster. Call the detention center if a recent transfer, release, or posting delay may affect an online result.
  • For an arrest or incident report, contact the Sheriff only when its deputies created the record. Otherwise, contact the arresting city police department, such as Elgin, Lawton, or Cache police, and ask for that department's records custodian.
  • For a filed district-court case or disposition, use the official OSCN docket search and contact the Comanche County Court Clerk for copies or certification.
  • For a person sentenced to Oklahoma state custody, use the official ODOC Offender Lookup. It is not a substitute for the CCDC current-inmate search.
  • For federal custody, use the official BOP Inmate Locator when it fits the person's status. A BOP result does not cover every pretrial or non-BOP detention setting.
  • For immigration detention, use the official ICE Online Detainee Locator when applicable. It is separate from county jail and state-prison records.

For the fuller sequence of county custody searches, booking-record requests, and the distinction between a booking and a court outcome, use the Comanche County records and custody overview. A record of an arrest or booking is an accusation, and the court disposition determines the case outcome.
